learning how to roll with the punches in art business

I received an email yesterday where someone asked if I could talk about my art more. I thought up a really nice email and sent it only to receive a " this email doesn't exist " email back. this was a little heartbreaking but Im goin to roll with the punches and post that email reply here. they wrote:
Hi there, I'm interested in buying some piece of your artwork. Could you please share some more information about them? I look forward to your response
and I wrote back:
Yes I would love to share some info.
my works on paper are from last year and my large paintings are all from this year. Rick Ruben says the price of making art is you have to share it with the world. I use this art practice as a way to work through my PTSD from being in the US Army for 15 years. I went to Afghanistan for two deployments during 2005, 2008 and it was very difficult for me. I feel like I need to get these drawings out into the world so they can be free and it will close the loop to the therapy session.
In my art I like to speak about consumerism and pop culture. It’s also about the irony of living in a modern world with 100 megapixel cameras but making squiggly drawings by hand with ink and smears. I like to mix in religious imagery because I grew up in a Catholic household to Colombian parents in south Florida. The shakes and wiggles of my hand are part of my style. I’ve let go of trying to be perfect which has been very freeing and therapeutic. I take my practice seriously as a meditative expression.
I like to use mechanical imagery mixed with botanical imagery which shows how I’m two parts of man, the calculating planned out part and the actual sentimental and emotional part. I have been on a long journey and I’m finally finding who I am at this moment which I suppose is half way. I always knew I could see or notice more than others around me and now I’m finally putting those things I see on canvas.
Is there a specific work you have a question about? I could talk about any of them and where I was coming from etc. Thank you for reaching out I appreciate your interest.
maybe this was just a bot but I think any mistakes are a possible learning point. roll with the punches!
