Nom de crayon

"Nom de crayon" — that phrase I picked up during a flight home from Spain just stuck with me. It’s what they call the artist's name in French. I pulled out some pens and markers, doodling logos, snatching phrases I overhear, and capturing snippets of whatever's playing on the tiny screens in front of me. I attack the paper, filling the spaces with what I see and hear until everything either blends harmoniously or I ruin it. This piece is one of my favorites; I’m really pleased with how it turned out.
